3-hour class in shaping soft clay into your own handmade ceramic item.

Description

Our max group size is 6 students + 1 instructor.

During the Shaping class, you form soft clay into any shape you like. You will be hand-building. This class does not use the pottery wheel.

Many of our students make something classic, like a bowl or a coffee cup. Others opt for a specific idea, like a small sculpture for a custom gift.
We will give you all the help you need so you can finish a single class with a complete ceramic item that’s ready for firing.

After the Shaping class, you choose one of two options:

OPTION A. You release your item to us. We handle firing and glaze your work with a neutral solid color glaze. You pick up a finished item and take it home.

OPTION B. We save your item for you at the studio. You visit us again, we teach you Glazing, and you

No matter which option you choose, you will take home at least one fully finished ceramic object, created by your hand.
